RetailChecks Ltd is a London-based right to work verification team. Since 2019 we have run right to work checks for retailers — from single boutiques to national groups — and the one thing every client needed was the same: checks that hold up, and records that answer back.
RetailChecks Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, based in London. Our work is defined by the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, Home Office employer guidance and the General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration ZA974310).
Our compliance team is trained to the current Home Office "Right to Work Checks: an employer's guide" on every update cycle, and our verification practice is reviewed annually by an external compliance consultant.
Since 2019 we have completed more than 60,000 right to work checks across British retail: fashion, grocery, luxury goods, concessions, franchises and retail staffing agencies. That casework shapes everything on this site — the seasonal surge playbook, the store-level delegation model, the renewal calendar — because we built them for problems we actually met in the field.
RetailChecks Ltd is an independent verification service. We are not a law firm, we are not part of the Home Office, and we never claim to be. Our role is to run the prescribed checks correctly and keep the records that protect your business.
